Bobby K. Hudson, 79, Derby, retired Pioneer, formerly of Minneapolis, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home.
Bobby was a man who had the presence of God in his life every day. The godly path he chose took him many places and allowed him to touch many lives. As a young husband and father he was President of the Kansas Jaycees, a Deacon in his Church and a Past Mayor of Minneapolis Kansas. Bobby loved to go fishing and spending time with his family.
Bob was a dedicated husband and father to his wife and his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mildred Lafaye Hudson.
Survivors include his wife of five years Wilma “Jo” Robson Hudson; brothers, Dennis Hudson, Max Hudson and his wife Carolyn; children, Cheryl Hardesty and husband Dave, Charlotte Collins and (Mike Bishop), John Hudson and (Jennifer Fraser), Sherrie Bertrand and husband Bruce, Charlene Nielsen and husband Jay; stepchildren, Chris Wedel and his wife Stacie, Steve Wedel and his wife Joan; 22 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
Bobby’s Favorite Verse was John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the Golden Wheel Senior Center and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
