Derby - Parks, Dan Lee, age 81, passed away Saturday, January 5th, 2019. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, January 10th, 2019, at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Rd. A private family service will be held later. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, and a great-granddaughter. Dan is survived by his wife, Juanita; children, Dana (Charlie) Brown, Tim (Stacy) Parks; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother; brother in-law; and a loving extended family. Dan was married to Juanita, his high school sweetheart, for 61 years. He was employed at The Boeing Company for 35 years and held numerous management positions. The project he was most proud of was Air Force One. Dan and Juanita retired in 1995. After his retirement, he spent his time with family, cheering the OU Sooners, golfing, fishing, and attending his grandchildren’s activities. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with the American Cancer Society.
