I had the honor of working with George twice at two different pharmacies. My first time working with him I was a young pharmacist and he mentored me at the Dillons at 13th and Waco. My next time working with him was at the Walmart on Pawnee and Broadway and that's where I have most of my memories. I loved his sense of humor and his gentle smile. I appreciated his calm and strong presence in the pharmacy. It always made my day go much better when I worked with George. His name just popped into my head this morning as I was on my way to work and I discovered that he had passed away in November of last year. I am so sorry for your loss he will be greatly missed and I am so glad that I got to know him.
