Obituary for Edith G. Moxham

Edith Goldie Moxham, age 101, of Wichita, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018. Visitation 2 - 8 pm Sunday, December 30, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside service 11 am Monday, December 31, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver. Edith is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Laura Jeardoe; son, Paul G. Moxham; infant daughter, Lela Mae Moxham; brother, Edward Jeardoe; sisters, Hazel Rodgers, Alice Shaddix and Dorothy Novak; and her granddaughter, Kimberly Moxham. Survivors: son, Dale Moxham (Mary), of Lampe Missouri; daughter, Laura Schmidt (Paul), of Derby; grandchildren, Diana Showalter (Talbert), Amy Dyke (Court), and Joe Groom (Shaunda); great-grandchildren, Zachary and Shelby Showalter, and Hunter and Colton Groom. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 North Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
